Like many developers, my path to programming wasn't exactly straightforward. With a degree and background in Education, I spent nearly a decade working as a classroom teacher and, later, an administrator. I started learning to code on a whim and quickly became addicted to both programming itself, as well as the process of learning it. It was exciting to solve complex problems again, creatively build new things, and constantly grow and improve.
When not in front of a computer, I love to read, travel, and spend time with family (including my neice, Anabelle, pictured here).
